The Low Cut Journey
This was the year Markus stumbled into a shop in Sydney, Australia and found a style of shoe that he always loved wearing. He bought 20 pairs after convincing the owner to give him a discount, and began selling them to friends and experimenting with redesigning them to suit a more refined style,
After Sneakers Came Boots
Luigi Sardo produced a limited production run of high quality boots, which opened the doors to new markets and experiences in the fashion and footwear industry.
This was fueled by a successful kickstarter campaign, where production was completed in Portugal using the world's best ateliers of leather footwear in the Porto region.
Sticking To Our Roots
In 2020 Luigi Sardo focused back on their core product, the classic Luigi Sardo Low Cut and produced a production run of low cuts that define the brand's style and solidify it's offering of minimalist low cut sneakers for men.
